As a class, we are taking part in the Bright Stars enterprise project and yesterday we had a very exciting afternoon meeting with our mentor Lindsay from Age UK North West Cumbria. She explained to us what her role entails as a retail manager and how a business works.

We then used this knowledge to brainstorm how we can create a successful product that will impact positively on our local community, whilst being environmentally sustainable. Well done to everyone who created a logo last night, they are all brilliant!
